3 sets of words. Step stop. Bare fare fate gate gale bale, another from heal to ever and the last one flee to tied. What can I take for them. I can't find a 4 letter word.

That is what I tried. But some words have more than 1 option, like Free can be to Flee or Tree. How to confirm what I match to is correct?

make four set of words. e.g. step-stop , gale-bale-bare-fare-fate-gate. and the other two sets, all with words change at one. if you connect you have 4 letters

You are looking for 4 sets of words that change
Bare-fare for example
follow trail of each set-maybe draw a trail
trail give you letter
4 letter word is the solution
